Uttaranchal signs MoU with RBI

Mumbai , June 8

The Uttaranchal Government has signed an MoU with the Reserve Bank of India to assess the urban co-operative banks in the State.

According to its announcement in the Mid-term Review of Annual Policy in October 2004, the RBI would assess the training and computerisation of urban co-operative banks to upgrade HR skills and technological infrastructure.

The RBI has also set up a State-Level task force on urban co-operative banks in the State.
