Chamber pleads for continuation of Saral form

Madurai , June 8

The Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has urged the Union Finance Ministry to consider withdrawing the proposed new IT returns form, stating that it is complicated, and allow the continuation of the much simpler Saral form.

In a statement, the Chamber President, Mr S. Rethinavelu, said that the introduction of the new form would aggravate the procedure problems for assessees.
