Polish team visits IT parks

Hyderabad, June 8

A delegation headed by the Marshall of the Malopolska region, Poland, is on a visit to Hyderabad to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation in the technology sector and the possibility of setting up a tech park back home.

A statement of cooperation was entered into in December 2005 by the State Department for Information Technology and Communication and The Marshall of Malopolska region, Poland for mutual cooperation. According to a statement from the Department of ICT, the team called on the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who assured cooperation. The touring Polish team visited some IT parks, ISB, IIIT-H and campuses of Microsoft, Satyam, TCS and Infosys.
