RBD palmolein rules weak

Mumbai , June 8

RBD palmolein and soya oil crude weakened further on the local edible oil market on Thursday on some offerings by stockists. Imported crude soya oil was down Re 1 at Rs 380 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was down a rupee at Rs 401 per 10 kg.

Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 324 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 475 per 10 kg. Sunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 395 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed August contracts ended lower at Rs 1,539 per quintal, down by Rs 6 over previous day.

Sugar mixed

Sugar spot prices ruled steady at the Vashi wholesale market on Thursday on stray buying interest. Small grade (S-30) was up Rs 2 at Rs 1,897-1,928 per quintal over previous day while medium grade (M-30) was down Rs 10 at Rs 1,915-1,975 per quintal over previous close.
