IMImobile to stream FIFA melodies

IMImobile, a value added solutions providers for telecom companies, has announced it has bagged distribution rights for "The Official of the 2006 FIFA World Cup" to over 90 million mobile subscribers spread over 17 countries in the Indian sub-continent, West Asia and Africa. The company has entered into a licence agreement with the London-based Kobalt Music Publishing Ltd, which controls and administers the copyright to "the Official Melody of the FIFA World Cup" on behalf of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Through this arrangement, during the football mega event, IMImobile will offer a range of mobile downloads in the form of mono tones, poly tunes and ring back tunes. Apart from offering in 17 countries, the company can sub-license these.
