Andhra Bank mobilisation drive

Andhra Bank is launching a month-long deposit mobilisation drive - AB Deposit Utsav - from Monday all over the State, according to Mr K. Sethuprasad, the Deputy General Manager in charge of the Vizag zonal office. He said here at a press meet on Saturday that the bank would pay 7.25 per cent on 3-5 year deposits and 7.5 per cent on deposits above 5 years, which he claimed was the highest in the industry. He said the Vizag zone was doing business of Rs 2,600 crore (Rs 1,700 crore of deposits and the rest in advances).
