Kamat Group ties up with HPCL for food joints

Mumbai , June 13

Kamat group of hotels has entered into a tie-up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), India's second largest integrated oil company, for operating food joints and restaurants at HPCL retail outlets all over the country.

Initially, the Kamats are planning to open ten restaurants at HPCL outlets across the country, as well as restaurants on the highways of Maharastra and Chhattisgarh before expanding their operations to other States.

"As part of HPCL's retail strategy, a customer - centric retail value proposition has been developed. The strategy is centered on creating customer pull by providing differentiated offers at the outlets, delighting the customers through innovative Club HP services and thereby becoming the preferred choice of retailer for fuel and non - fuel products and services for the customers," a news release said quoting Mr S.P. Chaudhry, Executive Director - Retail, HPCL.
