The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K) will network with the e-Information Systems Security and Audit Association (eISSA) for initiating steps for building awareness in information security and audit. It is hosting a one-day technical workshop on `Business assurance in networked economy' on June 24. eISSA is a society of eminent persons for promoting awareness, education, and consulting in the area. IIITM-K is working towards hosting a Thiruvananthapuram Chapter eISSA. With the increase in volume of electronic business transactions and e-commerce, there is an emerging need to understand issues related to business assurance, e-security and e-audit.
