WatchGuard 's new security tool

WatchGuard Technologies, a $200-million US-based provider of network security, has launched Firebox X eSeries, a security solution that helps companies protect their entire network systems, including personal computers and firewall. Mr Ajit Pillai, Country Manager, WatchGuard, told Business Line that companies now want a single vendor such as WatchGuard to provide a unified threat management solution to protect the entire system, he said. WatchGuard's new solution, which starts at $2,290, provides real time monitoring and reporting and takes action immediately. In India, it has over 2,500 clients, he said.The company has a call centre in Gurgaon with 350 employees toprovide technical support, he said.
