Schwing Stetter ties up with Bharat Shell

Mumbai , June 15

Bharat Shell Ltd and Schwing Stetter India Pvt Ltd, a leading player in the ready-mix concrete equipment industry, is planning to launch a superior grade of hydraulic oil exclusively for Stetter's equipments for the Indian markets.

The new grade hydraulic oil is a result of extensive field-testing done on Schwing Stetter's equipment and is expected to enhance the machine life as compared to regular oil, company officials said at a press meet.

Addressing the press here on Thursday, Mr Utpal Ghosh, Vice-President - B2B, Bharat Shell, said, "Schwing Stetter knows concrete mixing best and Shell knows lubricants best.

"This synergy will help service the construction segment customers the best."

Maintenance

"The use of this new lubricant will greatly benefit customers by enhancing the life cycle of the machine. The longer life cycle of the lubricant results in reduction of oil consumption and enhances the functioning of the equipment," said Mr V.G. Sakthi Kumar - Vice-President - Marketing, Schwing Stetter India Private Ltd.

The new product will be marketed by Bharat Shell to all customers of Schwing Stetter. Together, the two plan on educating the customers on the advantage of using Bharat Shell lubricants.

Bharat Shell also plans on offering a condition monitoring service, which will help customers to maintain their pump.

As part of the agreement, Schwing Stetter will promote Bharat Shell products and also include the new lubricant in their recommended list, in their product catalogue.

The product will be stocked, displayed, distributed and sold by outlets of Bharat Shell to customers, on demand.
