`Cash back' offer on SBI debit cards

Kochi , June 15

The State Bank of India (SBI) has launched `Cash Back on ATM Debit Cards' from June 16 to July 15 in Ernakulam.

Launching the offer here on Thursday, the SBI Deputy General Manager, Mr S. Chandramouli, said that an SB ATM cardholder using his card for making payment of more than Rs 500 at a merchant establishment anywhere here during this period will get cash back ranging from 3 to 6 per cent with a maximum of Rs 1,000.

The ATM card provided by SB group is an ATM-cum-debit card, which works on ATMs as well as Maestro Point of Sale terminals, he said. "Our cardholders can use their cards for making payment for their purchases, restaurant bills, hotel bills, airline tickets etc."
