Outsourcing Integreon to set up another centre here V. Rishi Kumar
Hyderabad , June 18 Business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions provider Integreon is finalising plans for another centre in India, which could potentially serve as a business continuity base for its global operations. The company is evaluating Chandigarh, Kochi, Pune, Delhi and Chennai. The centre, with a staff-strength of about 500, would address areas of finance and accounting, and human resources business services. The Chief Executive Officer of Integreon, Mr Liam Brown, said the company, which employs about 1,000 people, plans to expand its geographic delivery footprint in the US, UK and the Philippines as well. The company recently opened a litigation support solutions centre in New York and is in the process of opening up a 50-seater facility in London to support European customer base. Answering queries from Business Line, Mr Brown said that the company expanded its Powai operations into a 600-seater facility at Hiranadani Business Park, and the business continuity is currently split between the Andheri and Powai facilities.
Name change
Asked about a suit related to the Integreon name, he said that the company changed its name from Integral Media Services to Integreon in December 2004, to create a distinct brand in the BPO market.
