Aegis buoyed by expansion plans

Aegis Logistics is speculated to be in negotiation for acquisition of a new terminal and storage facility at Kochi port. Dealers suggested that emergence of renewed interest in the counter was attributable to the company's aggressive expansion plans. In the last few months, it has acquired one facility at the Mumbai port and another at Vizag port area. Though there was no official word on the supposed negotiations, in the market perception the company is on an acquisition mode. The stock closed with a gain of 10 per cent at Rs 161.45 after touching the session's peak at Rs 161.45 on the BSE.
