Policy Wildlife Crime Bureau Ramesh Sharma
THE PRIME MINISTER, Dr Manmohan Singh, and the Union Minister for Enviornment and Forests, Mr A. Raja, releasing a copy of a report during a meeting of the National Wildlife Board in the Capital on Monday. The National Wildlife Board, headed by Prime Minister, gave final clearance to creation of a Wildlife Crime Control Bureau armed with investigative powers. Setting up the Bureau will require an amendment in the Wildlife Protection Act and the Bill for the purpose would be brought in the monsoon session of Parliament, Mr Raja said.
