Learn from Gates

That Mr Bill Gates is going to spend more time and energy to rejuvenate school education in the US holds some important lessons for India.

Industry-academia partnership is not new to the US and much of higher education there is supported financially by industries and their leaders.

Our primary and high school education system is in shambles with a staggering drop-out ratio and abysmal quality.

Instead of harnessing resources available, our leadership chooses to endlessly debate in the name of Bharat Nirmaan.

N. K. Raveendran
