Brands Marico enters baby care segment with Sparsh Our Bureau
Mumbai , June 21 Marico has announced its entry into the baby care segment with its Sparsh brand. The range comprises Baby Oil and Baby Bathing Bar. Endowed with natural ingredients, Sparsh Baby Oil and Baby Bathing Bar come with the promise of the `long lasting goodness' of Parachute. Sparsh Baby Oil, successfully prototyped and launched in South India, is enriched with the natural goodness of tulsi, turmeric, coconut oil, and vitamins D and E. Sparsh Baby Bathing Bar promises a `No Tears Bath'. Made from natural ingredients such as turmeric and natural moisturisers, it ensures glowing, soft and supple skin for the baby. "Today, mothers want the best of both the worlds for their baby traditional do-good products in a modern easy-to-use format. In South India where Sparsh was prototyped, we received a very encouraging response. We are sure that the response in other parts of the country will also be similar," says R Chandra Seker, Category Head, Marico Ltd. The company roped in leading actress Simran, a young mother herself, for the South India launch of the brand. Sonali Bendre, a popular actress, who recently gave birth to her first child, has been roped in for the national launch of the brand.
