Kerala: Water levels recede in major reservoirs

Kochi, June 22

Water levels in major reservoirs of Kerala have decreased. According to figures released for the week ending June 19 by the Central Water Commission at Kallada, water level decreased from 330.05 ft to 328.48 ft and at Idukki from 2315.86 ft to 2311.89 ft. When compared with the water levels recorded during the same period last year, Idukki reservoir showed an increase of 13.53 ft, Kallada 14.26 ft.
