This is the second order from the Singapore company. The earlier order worth Rs 124 crore was received about three months ago. The company has also secured an order worth Rs 25 crore from Canara Bank to supply 47,400 gold coins.

This is in connection with the bank's centenary celebrations. Both the orders will be completed at the company's manufacturing facility in Whitefield near Bangalore. The Rs 5,200-crore firm is looking at mergers and acquisitions both in the domestic and international market. It is also keen on tie-ups with international players in Europe, the US and the Far East.
