Call rates steady

Call rates were steady between 5.75-5.85 per cent. Liquidity was at Rs 30,310 crore, down from Rs 42,255 crore, following the Rs 9,000 crore auction of the two government papers, on Thursday. In the first three-day reverse repo auction under LAF, the Reserve Bank of India received and accepted 23 bids amounting to Rs 10,355 crore and in the second one-day reverse repo auction, 48 bids for Rs 19,955 crore. There were no repo bids. The CBLO market saw 288 trades aggregating to Rs 15,142.95 crore in the 5.30-5.8 per cent range.
