Cholamandalam opens office in Secunderabad

Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd has launched its personal finance branch in Secunderabad. It is the first of the three such branches planned for Hyderabad and Secunderabad this month, according to Mr Atul Pande, Managing Director.

Cholamandalam DBS is a the financial services joint venture between the Rs 7,300-crore Muruggapa Group and DBS Bank of Singapore. The Secunderabad branch will offer personal loans . These branches will be equipped to handle the entire loan process — from loan enquiry to cheque disbursement, Mr Pande said.

Inaugurating the branch on Thursday, Mr Rajan Raju, Director of Cholamandalam DBS, said the company will offer international products and technological expertise to ensure customised and speedy service delivery to customers.

Mr Pande said, "We want to extend the service of offering personal loans through neighbourhood branches in other cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Coimbatore, in addition to Chennai."
