New curriculum for CA course

Major changes are envisaged in the new curriculum of CA course to be implemented shortly so as to equip the students to face new challenges in the changing scenario, said Mr V. Murali, Chairman, Board of Studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. He was inaugurating a seminar on CA career awareness programme organised by the Ernakulam branch of ICAI here. He said that the first common proficiency test (CPT), an entrance examination to CA profession, would be introduced in November this year.
