Education Ad Club Madras, MICA team up for media course Our Bureau
Chennai , June 26 Communication management school Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad, is offering a one-year certificate programme in `Managing Integrated Media' in association with the Advertising Club Madras, at the latter's premises in Chennai. The programme will commence from August. According to a press release from the Advertising Club Madras, the certificate programme, also the first by MICA in Chennai, aims at orienting participants to various media and their roles in marketing and brand communications. The programme extensively covers various aspects of media management including marketing research, media economics, culture, communication and media, brand communication, media planning and buying, direct and rural marketing. The programme is targeted at individuals working in or aspiring to join the media and advertising industry. The course fee will be around Rs 60,000.
Selection process
The selection test comprising a written test, group discussion and personal interviews, will be held in July. The courses will be delivered every fortnight with classes being held for two straight days of the fortnight (Saturday and Sunday) at the Advertising Club Madras.
Course material
Pre-designed reading material will be provided to the students and also reference material will be identified and stocked at the Advertising Club library in Chennai. The certificate programme will be delivered by MICA faculty in association with experts from both advertising and media segments. The last date for receiving the filled application forms is June 30.
