Mr R.V. Rajan, Chairman and Managing Director of Anugrah Madison, has been re-elected as the President of the Rural Marketing Agencies Association of India (RMAAI). The association, at its first AGM held recently in Hyderabad, also elected Mr Pradeep Kashyap of MART, Delhi, as Vice-President, Mr Khurram Askari of Insight Connect, Hyderabad, as Secretary and Mr R. Parthasarathy of Kripa Outdoor, Chennai, as Treasurer.

Besides, Mr R.A. Patankar of Sampark, Mr Pradeep Lokhande of Rural Relations, Mr Sunil Khairnar of India Agribusiness, Mr K. Ananthakrishnan of R.K. Swamy Social, Mr Anurag Gupta of Ogilvy Outreach, Mr Sandip Bansal of Expanse and Mr Sanjay Kaul of Impact Communication, were elected to the managing committee of the RMAAI.

A press release from Anugrah Madison, quoting Mr Rajan, says, "Following the successful conduct of the seminar on rural insurance held at Hyderabad, the Association plans to have a series of industry-focused seminars. The next one will be rural banking to be held in September in Mumbai."
