ORG-MARG to be data partner for first survey

New Delhi , June 26

Invest India Market Solutions (IIMS) has decided to create a national integrated database on the composition and direction of retail finance demand.

For this purpose, it has commissioned a national sample survey covering 93,000 retail investors. The survey is titled the `Indian Incomes and Savings Survey (IISS) 2006'.

AC Nielsen ORG-MARG, which is the data partner for this survey, would do the fieldwork for the first survey. IIMS would repeat the survey every two years to create a time series to identify and track trends, according to Mr Gautam Bhardwaj, Director, IIMS.

IISS 2006 would provide both national and disaggregated market views for financial sector firms, industry bodies, regulators and government. It would cover all key financial market segments.
