The Hindu Business Line : Sree Sakthi net up at Rs 1.7 cr

Sree Sakthi Paper Mills Ltd on Friday said its net profit in 2005-06 rose to Rs 1.7 crore from Rs 1.02 crore a year ago. Its turnover during the year stood at Rs 63.38 crore, up from Rs 49.50 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a statement here. The board of directors has recommended a dividend of five per cent for the year.

Its Kraft liner manufacturing facility at Edayar in Ernakulam would start production by the end of 2006. The company proposes to make high quality and high strength Kraft paper of 120 tonnes a day. A major share of this production would be exported.
