The All-India Air Conditioning and Refrigerator Association (AIACRA), a representative body for AC manufacturers, which met here on Saturday, called upon small and medium sized manufacturers of ACs to upgrade their technology to global standards to remain competitive. In a statement, the President of AIACRA, Mr. Rajender Mittal, called upon members to participate in some of the overseas expositions to get latest inputs on technology. A delegation is heading Nuremberg, Germany, in October and later will participate in China Refrigeration Show in 2007 to be held at Guangzhou, China. He called upon them to take part in these events. A MoU was signed with the air conditioning and refrigeration industry associations of China, Korea, Thailand and Turkey that would help the members to obtain information about export potential in these countries.
