Chemfab Alkalies plans overseas tie-up

Chennai , July 2

Chemfab Alkalies' `health care division,' which manufactures a range of products of daily consumption in such a way that they are good for health, is in talks with a few overseas retail majors for a tie-up, the company officials have said.

Under the tie-up, the partner will help invest in opening a chain of retail shops across the country, while Chemfab would focus more on production and research in newer health products.

Chemfab has been test-running a retail outlet near its office at Vandalur, near Chennai. Now, the company has opened its first shop within the city — in Annanagar.

A number of products are on offer. For example, Team Energy Herbal Water is produced by treating water to UV-filtration, electrolysis and ionisation. These ensure the presence of abundant hydroxyl ions and a high pH of around 9.5, thereby making the water alkaline. Alkaline water neutralises acidic wastes in the body, which otherwise would get stored as fats and make the body obese. The neutralised wastes get out of the system naturally.

Besides, `energy water' provides calcium and other minerals in ionised form, ensuring that they reach needy areas in the body faster and more powerfully. Besides, they also help prevent and control high BP, Diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis and kidney stones.
