Sri: Hi! Chart view for the indices is positive.

Kay: With an 8-10 per cent potential on the upside.

Kay: Upward momentum is likely to continue.

Dax: Because the market breadth was positive, right?

Sri: FIIs were net buyers, Rs 1,311 crore in June.

Jog: MFs sold around Rs 2,400 crore during the month.

Kay: On the lower side, Nifty has support at 3,111.

Sri: And below that, at 3,072. Nifty ended on Friday at 3,128.

Dax: What a relief! May July brim with optimism!

Jog: Oscar Wilde says, "Basis for optimism is sheer terror."

Kay: Still want to play safe? Bet on technology stocks.

Sri: Things are quite +ve for software, hotels and cement.

Jog: Some pressure on monsoon and inflation news.

Jog: We'll then know if BoJ will raise interest rate.

Kay: Don't forget crude - it's almost $74 a barrel!

Jog: Cement and auto companies will announce their data.

Sri: Monthly sales/despatches figures.

Dax: Stocks that are looking good on the charts are...

Sri: Tata Motors, Maruti, Reliance Capital and Zee.

Kay: Heard Zodiac Clothing in the buy side, short term.

Jog: May be for 50 per cent dividend payout.

Sri: There was some sudden surge in volumes in

Gateway Distriparks.

Kay: With rising price? Look out for further rally.

Jog: Suna tha that the markets are sustained...

for the DLF IPO!

Dax: Despite odds up against the construction sector?

Kay: Remember, Hindustan Construction and IVRCL

shot up on Friday.

Sri: Among pharma, try Glenmark (target 320) and

Aurobindo (target 675).

Dax: Adlabs has the potential to reach 300, in my view.

Kay: Heard on the street about action in HDFC Bank.

Sri: And Mid-Day Multimedia. Anything about LMW?

Jog: Textile machinery leader, stock at Rs 19,000 or so!

Kay: Some brokers advise clients to accumulate the scrip.

Sri: Volumes are low and you can't get too many shares.

Dax: "A volume of enticing lines," as in King Henry VI.

Jog: Will Wockhardt's recent acquisitions of a couple of

well-known baby-food brands help shore up

the stock's fortunes?

Dax: Big question! Those checking out the counter at

every dip are expected to get enthused. Some indication

today and this week?

Jog: Polaris could witness some +ve action on the bourses.

Dax: Set to report a better performance this quarter?

Kay: COO, Arup Gupta factor, shall we say?

Jog: Watching GTL. Telecom industry's prospects

prompting investors to get their teeth into GTL.

Immediate trigger is the company's plans on networking.

Dax: Seen as a big thing in the emerging context.

Kay: Telecom sector facing huge competition these days.

Sri: Thanks to a host of players who have

stepped into it lately.
