Indiasoft Tech launches gPROMS

The Pune-based Indiasoft Technologies will introduce gPROMS, a software that will understand chemical process and aid the functioning of chemical engineering-based companies.

The software is developed by the UK-based Process Solutions Enterprises and will be distributed in India by Indiasoft.

gPROMS is a statistical tool to improve efficiency of the existing processes in industries such as oil drilling and food processing. The software will understand chemical processes and organise efficient work flows too, said Mr R.K. Irani, Director - Operations, Indiasoft. gPROMS will be introduced over the coming 6-12 months. "The software is on a higher platform than the existing software ISIS," he said.
