Ranbaxy turns weak on homesick

The family dispute in Ranbaxy family seems to be impacting sentiment in the counter, dealers said. On Thursday, Ranbaxy closed at Rs 354.70, down from previous close of Rs 357.40.

Though the dispute has nothing to do with Ranbaxy Laboratories and its functioning, dealers said the dispute in the family has raised doubts among investors on the stature of the company.

A recent report by a foreign brokerage firm also has urged investors to dump Ranbaxy in favour of Dr Reddy's in pharma space, dealers said.
