Human Resources Flex i may tie up with finishing schools for talent Anjali Prayag
Bangalore , July 7 Flex i, a Bangalore-based temp staffing company, is in the process of tying up with finishing schools to cater to the staffing needs of the BPO, retail and hospitality sectors. Mr Ravish Dhamija, Founder Team Member and CEO, Flex i, told Business Line that the corporate sectors is looking for talent here and now. "They need trained manpower as they need to fill positions at short notices." Mr Dhamija said that to facilitate this, Flex i is also institutionalising training programmes and may consider starting a finishing school for these sectors. Apart from staffing solutions, Flex i intends to build a domain capability in pay-rolling with a sector focus on IT, ITeS, retail, hospitality and infrastructure. The company is planning a headcount of 3,000 to 5,000 by the year-end with 15 offices across the country, including Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai By 2008, Flex i intends to have a physical presence in the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan and Korea. Flex i was set up with investment from Hunt Partners, a global executive search firm. "The company is now in its second stage of expansion and is in the process of diluting a `small stake for a significantly high investment," Mr Dhamija said.
