Preliminary rounds of Tata Group quiz in nine cities

The Tata Group is conducting the third edition of its business quiz, Tata Crucible. The preliminary rounds of the quiz are being held across nine cities (Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Bangalore) and the national finals would be held on July 23 in Mumbai. The preliminary contest in Mumbai is on Saturday, after which it would travel to Delhi on July 9, Hyderabad on July 11, Chennai on July 15 and Bangalore on July 16. The Hindu Group is the print media partner of the event for all the three southern regional rounds. The quiz, which is being conducted by quizmaster, Mr Giri Balasubramanium, has no entry fee and is open for both serious as well as the recreational quizzers. The team that wins the Tata Crucible Quiz Contest will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh and a host of other prizes from the Tata Group along with a trophy for each member.
