The ICFAI Business School, Mumbai, (IBS-M) in collaboration with DS Actuarial Education Services has launched a one-year postgraduate diploma course in Actuarial Management. The course, which would commence in August this year, is reportedly meant to meet the growing demand of actuarial professionals in the industry.

Actuarial Management relates to evaluation of the impact of financial risks of future uncertainties, with the help of statistical and analytical methods. It reportedly helps corporates to plan better for product pricing, asset valuation, compensation plan designing, pricing of derivative products, risk assessment and risk management.
