GOOD DAYS AHEAD: Pineapples being loaded in a mini truck near Kochi. The Kerala Horticulture Mission has offered financial aid for farmers to improve infrastructural facilities and cultivation. Pineapple farmers will get Rs 15,000 per hectare, turmeric farmers Rs 11,250 and nutmeg farmers will get Rs 35,000 per hectare.
