The Chief Minister will also seek the Centre's nod for establishment of a National Centre for Good Governance in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad , July 12

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on a visit to Delhi, will call on the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, and discuss issues relating to Andhra Pradesh while seeking a special package of incentives for farmers.

The Centre has selected 31 districts in the country for special rehabilitation package and more than half of them are in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister will seek the Centre's nod for establishment of a National Centre for Good Governance in Hyderabad as the Centre for Good Governance, now being managed here has produced good results.

Dr Reddy will also host a breakfast meet and interface with entrepreneurs in New Delhi on July 13 and seek investments from both Indian and overseas investors.

He will also discuss issues including package of incentives for semiconductor Fab units, which is under Central Government's active consideration, clearances for certain pending irrigation projects, and sort out issues relating to farm produce including maize, set up a regulator for gas and coal pricing and to restore the earlier procedure of determining the transfer price of lignite by mutual discussion with beneficiaries.

The State Government is also seeking rescheduling of loans to farmers with larger moratorium on repayment and waiver of interest and to provide Rs 540 premium under medical insurance not only for below poverty line families but also for all the agricultural families.
