SIB-Franklin Templeton ink MoU

Kochi, July 12

South Indian Bank has signed an MoU with Franklin Templeton Investments to distribute its products through the bank's branches. Speaking on the occasion, Mr M. Valsan, Chief General Manager of the bank, said: "With this move, the bank has taken another step towards offering holistic financial solutions to the diverse financial needs of its valued customers. Through the sale of mutual funds, the bank expects substantial revenue income during the current year." The alliance with South Indian Bank will help in reaching out to retail investors, who did not have access to Franklin Templetoninvestment products till now, Mr Sandeep Singh, Sales Head, Franklin Templeton, said.
