Plastics Aristocrat Q4 net up 10.5 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , July 13 Aristocrat Luggage Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 1.33 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2006, registering a rise of 10.49 per cent compared to Rs 1.2 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net sales have decreased 2.16 per cent to Rs 14.41 crore (Rs 14.73 crore). For the fiscal, net sales grew 8.8 per cent to Rs 61.02 crore (Rs 56.10 crore). EBIDTA grew to Rs 1.98 crore (Rs 1.8 crore) in the corresponding quarter last year. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 2.88 on equity of Rs 5.60 crore. Aristocrat has set up a new plant with installed capacity of one million pieces per annum at Haridwar in Uttaranchal for manufacturing moulded luggage. Commercial production started from June. The company has incurred a capex of Rs 7.5 crore on this facility. On the BSE, the company's share ended at Rs 33.50 against the previous day's close of Rs 33.65.
