Extra baggage allowance to students

Our Bureau

New Delhi, July 13

Due to sizeable number of students travelling to London from India, Jet Airways has revised free baggage allowance for them to 46 kg, up from existing 40 kg. Revised baggage allowance is applicable only up to London on outbound journeys up to September 30. Passengers must present their student visa at the time of check-in to avail themselves of this allowance. The allowance is offered on sale and purchase of tickets between July 1 and September 30 (both the days inclusive). It can be used on any Jet Airways published carrier fare and cannot be used on discounted group fares. Any one piece of baggage should not exceed 32 kg in total weight.
