BASF India net up 47% in Q1

BASF India Ltd has reported a 47 per cent jump in net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal at Rs 17.22 crore, as compared with Rs 11.69 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal. During the quarter, it has reported net sales of Rs 206.82 crore, as against Rs 167.63 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal, representing a 23 per cent hike. The company is in the business of manufacturing and marketing of styropor and tanning agents.
