Our Bureau

New Delhi , July 14

The Reserve Bank of India on Friday said that there was no change in its stance on inflation, which it has projected to be between 5 per cent and 5.5 per cent this fiscal.

"There is no change in our stance on inflation from what we had stated in our annual policy," the RBI Deputy Governor, Dr Rakesh Mohan, told reporters here.

Dr Mohan met the Finance Ministry officials ahead of RBI's quarterly policy review on July 25. He also said that RBI's exact views on inflation would be known in its forthcoming policy review.

"You will know our view about inflation in our quarterly policy review," he said.
