Elitecore pact with French co for security tool

Virendra Pandit

Ahmedabad , July 14

After tying the knot with the Moscow-based Kaspersky Lab for anti-terrorism solutions in the cyber world last month, the Ahmedabad-based Elitecore Technologies, vendor of identity-based integrated security appliances, has teamed up with the French firm, TheGreenBow, to offer IPSec VPN within the Cyberoam Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances.

"We would provide secure transactions to executives and others as soon as they log on and seek information from another computer," Mr Harish Chib, Vice-President (Marketing) of the company, told Business Line.

TheGreenBow, a leading software editor of desktop and laptop security solutions, would provide hi-tech technology to Elitecore, which vends Cyberoam, provider of identity-based security appliances to more than 1,000 corporates, educational institutes and governmental organisations worldwide.

"Security solutions are often too complex and are thus rejected by the end-users. Elitecore Technologies and TheGreenbow would provide efficient yet simple and accessible solutions to end-users even without a technical background," said Mr Jerome Chappe, co-founder of TheGreenbow.

Cyberoam is the identity-based UTM solution that offers integrated Internet security with fine granularity through its user identity-based policies. TheGreenBow is a European software editor of desktop and laptop security solutions headquartered in France.
