Fixed Deposits KVB rolls out special products Our Bureau
The KVB 90 Plus 24-month term deposit scheme, open to individuals up to 65 years of age, offers eight per cent interest on minimum deposit of Rs 25,000 and comes with a bundle of offerings such as free accident insurance cover of up to Rs 1 lakh each for accidental death, permanent/partial disablement and permanent/total disablement and hospitalisation coverage on account of accidents up to Rs 20,000. As part of the KVB Students Savings Account for persons 13 years old and above, the bank would provide account-holders a free Visa Debit Card with access to the bank's ATMs and to the thousands of ATMs of the member banks in the NFS and VISA cluster. Mr Kuppuswamy also hinted at more product rollouts in the near term. The bank is upbeat about reaching the Rs 1,100-crore mark net-owned funds position at the close of the current fiscal. Its total business crossed the Rs 14,000-crore mark on July 15.
