Jog: Geopolitical tensions. Iran, Israel-Lebanon...

Dax: Plus North Korea and Nigeria. `Crude' shock.

Sri: Add to that the upcoming RBI meeting.

Jog: With good news in the market, comes bad news...

Kay: Infosys beat street expectations.

Dax: Followed by crude oil price...

Sri: And finally BOJ rate hike.

Jog: Why is the market fighting shy of 11K?

Dax: Infosys set a buzz of excitement.

Sri: Will other IT majors follow suit?

Jog: Tracking last week's numbers. Ajanta Pharm gained

14% on July 10. India Cem earned 6% and Mittal Sec was up

5% last Monday. ONGC and GHCL made a profit of 3%

while MRO-Tek and Eveready were up almost 2%.

Satnam Overseas and Tata Steel ended that day +ve.

Sri: This week, Bajaj Auto could rule firm. Solid Q1 results.

Kay: Tata Steel could see some weakness.

Dax: Lost out in the race to pick up a plant in SA.

Jog: UB Holdings could see some +ve movement.

Sri: Reason: Bonus 1:1.

Dax: Sugar cos granted permission to commence exports.

Kay: A positive as overseas realisations tend to be higher.

Sri: Dewan Housing Fin may show a 20% increase...

Dax: In Q1 bottom line. May!

Jog: HCL Technologies had a great run last week.

Dax: India Cements still going strong.

Jog: Aftek Infosys (target 70).

Sri: Polaris (target 100) seeing huge volumes. Unitech?

Kay: Hitting either higher or lower freeze most of the days.

Dax: Among mid-cap stocks, 3i Infotech and

Jog: Visaka Ind in focus.

Sri: Balrampur Chini expansion? Doing quite well...

Kay: More than one new-generation plants.

Jog: No diversification though.

Dax: Trading volumes are pretty decent at the moment.

Jog: What about Hero Honda?

Sri: Higher revenues and post-tax earnings...

Kay: But no big gains at the counter. Pressure on margin?

Sri: Good intra-day opportunities, if you didn't notice.

Dax: Crisil expected to gain...

Jog: From a good quarterly performance.

Kay: Low volumes mark trading in the counter, though.

Sri: Can't buy too much Crisil (Rs 1500 plus)!

Dax: Suna tha... ki `A pin lies in wait for every bubble!'

Jog: When the two eventually meet, kya hoga?

Kay: `Some very old lessons' for a new set of investors!
