D.S. Mathur is new DoT Secy

New Delhi, July 17

Mr Dinesh Shankar Mathur, a 1971 batch Indian Administrative Service officer, on Monday took charge as Secretary, Department of Telecom.

Mr Mathur is from the MP cadre and has replaced Mr J.S. Sarma who has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Fertiliser.

Before joining the Central Government, Mr Mathur was the Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussouri. He is also currently holding the post of the Secretary, Department of Information Technology.
