Ties up with Zoom Tech to resell its products here

Hyderabad , July 18

ContentKeeper Technologies, a security solutions provider based in Australia, has announced it has set up a help desk to support its global operations and to shortly locate a software development centre here.

It has a partnership with the Hyderabad-based Zoom Technologies, which would serve as a reseller of its products in India apart from hosting its help desk centre.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the Director and Chief Financial Officer of ContentKeeper, Mr Peter Wigley, said the company expects to invest up to $1 million in India centre and induct about 100 people for its global help desk services. This would enable it to provide round the clock support services.

Within two months, the software products development centre would be set up here, Mr Wigley said.

The Managing Director of Zoom Technologies, Mr M.H. Noble, said "there have been increased number of security breaches in the country and the recent development at the HSBC is one such case. There is tremendous scope for security solutions in the Indian market."

Filtering technologies

Secure Internet filtering technologies are what corporate houses in the country are looking for. This is particularly in demand in the IT and ITeS and financial services sectors, which handle data from across the globe. This opens up potential for misuse. Through superior technology and products of ContentKeeper, one would be able to better manage their data, Mr Noble said.

Apart from setting up its help desk in India, ContentKeeper is now seeking to tap the Indian market with its range of solutions, including management of huge flow of emails.
