"Judicial deal"

The write-up "Judicial deal" (Business Line, July 19) was most interesting and relevant. The Left parties in the ruling coalition at the Centre, who are worried about the nexus between politicians, businessmen and civil servants, should insist on the reform of the judicial administration on the lines of the system prevailing in the US. And they should insist on this being done in a definite time-frame for their continued support to the Government.

Honest politicians from across all parties should also come forward to support this move if they are serious about rooting out corruption in the country.
