Honda Civic rolls into Vizag

Visakhapatnam, July 19

Honda Siel Cars India Ltd launched the Honda Civic on Wednesday. The car, priced at Rs 12,17,075 (on road) for the manual version and Rs 12,95,870 (on road) for the automatic version, was launched by Mr R. Balaji, Vice-President (Vehicles), Sundaram Motors. Mr Balaji said that the Civic, launched a fortnight ago in the country, had been received well in the Indian market. "We have already 2,500 bookings within a fortnight and we hope to sell a thousand cars every month," he added. The car, with an advanced engine and sleek exteriors, would be manufactured at the plant in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh and sold through 51authorised dealers.
