Euro RSCG wins Cobra Beer account

Our Bureau

Mumbai , July 20

The Cobra Beer account has moved from Lowe to Euro RSCG.

The Havas group agency will be handling both above- and below-the-line and outdoor advertising for Cobra. The budget for the year is close to Rs 7 crore.

Since the launch of Indian-made Cobra beer last year, the company has expanded the presence of its product to key beer markets in India.

"India is a focus market for Cobra. We shall be making substantive investments in brewing capacity, new markets and new products. Euro RSCG will focus on developing a platform for Cobra Beer for the Indian market, which is unique but does not at the same time alienate it from the positioning that we have developed for the brand in the UK," said Mr Perses Bilimoria, Regional Director of Cobra Indian Beer Pvt Ltd.
