Subros Ltd has recorded a 30 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 5.95 crore in the first quarter of the year compared to Rs 4.57 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company's gross sales for the first quarter increased by 11 per cent to Rs 165.37 crore (Rs 154.20 crore).

Meanwhile, the company's board has recommended an increased dividend of 35 per cent for the financial year ending March 31, 2006 against 30 per cent paid during the previous year.
