Vaidyaratnam team for Korea

A delegation headed by Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College Principal Dr R. Vijayakumar Varma is visiting South Korea as part of the Vaidyaratnam Group's efforts to create global awareness about ayurveda.

During the 16-day visit, Dr Varma and Prof Iqbal will address a seminar of healthcare professionals in Masan University, Korea, a release issued here said.

South Korean health care professionals have established a relationship with Vaidyaratnam Group in the recent past. The group trained 20 South Koreans in Panchakarma therapy last year.

The group also received an order worth Rs 25 lakh from Korea for some select medicines. Products of Vaidyaratnam are also now available in the countries of West Asia. It had also plans to set up retail outlets in UK and Germany.
